Our Process

STEP 1.  PLANNING PHASE
Discovery / Goals / Wireframes / Information Architecture

All of our projects start with research, analysis and carefully thought out information architecture based on our customers requirements and specifications.  Then, we take your vision and begin to form the basis for site structure and layout. Many designers and developers either skip or minimize the importance of this planning phase, but we know from years of experience that project exploration is essential to the project as well as the long-term success of your blog or website.

STEP 2. DESIGN PHASE
User Interface / Prototyping / Graphic Design

Once the planning phase is complete, we can get to the fun stuff, everybody’s favorite part… the blog or website’s look and feel.  We take all the knowledge we acquired during discovery and begin to put together a conceptual design and a user interface that best suits the requirements of the project.

STEP 3. BUILDING PHASE
XHTML / CSS / Javascript / CMS

Now that the design is ready, we can turn everything you imagined into an Internet reality.  We specialize in the design, customization and implementation of Content Management Systems using the WordPress development platform.  Our goal is to bring the most out of your blog or website with dynamic content and real time interaction.

STEP 4. CONTENT PHASE
Copywriting /Editing / Data Integration

This is typically the most overlooked phase of any blog or website project. Somebody has to write the catchy marketing phrases. Most clients prefer to provide their own prose, but we can provide writing and editing services in most situations. In either scenario, content is required in this phase or your site will look kind of barren.

Similarly, if you have a database of information you want to publish on your new site or blog, now’s the time to start transfering data. We’ll make sure your content is indexed and working properly for the big launch.

STEP 5. LAUNCH AND MAINTENANCE
Final Approval /Site Transfer / Analysis

Just because your project goes live doesn’t mean you’re done. You’re just getting started, but that’s what’s great about WordPress blogs and content management systems. We are putting complete control in your hands. We’ll always be around for tweaks and updates, but day-to-day control rests with your in-house team which is a huge cost savings in the long-run.

Remember that a cool design can only achieve greatness after launch once we can determine how people are visiting your blog or website. WordPress and other plug-ins enable us to review user statistics and other optimization strategies to make sure that both you and your users are getting the most out of their web experience.
